The Marketing Mix

E. Jerome McCarthy, who is known as the father of modern marketing, developed this marketing mix in the 1960s, known as the 5 P’s of Marketing. The mix is a strategic tool that businesses can use to create a plan for their marketing efforts. Each of the five P's is important and affects the others.

People

The fifth and final "P" is people. People are one of the most important tools in marketing. They are responsible for creating and delivering the message to potential customers.
